Hospital Snack Pack 🍎

Packing snacks for labor can make a big difference—it keeps your energy steady and helps you feel a bit more comfortable. Always check with your OB/GYN first to make sure everything you bring is safe for you to eat or drink during labor.

Here are a few ideas to get you started:

  • Protein shakes – Great for quick fuel when you might not feel like chewing.
  • Protein bars – My personal favorite are the peanut and dark chocolate ones from Nature Valley. They’re satisfying and not too heavy.
  • Frozen grapes – The cold helped me stay grounded and refreshed between contractions.
  • Electrolyte drinks – Staying hydrated is key! I love the guava flavor packets from Salud mixed with ice water.

You could also throw in a few extras like crackers, trail mix, or honey sticks if your provider says it’s okay—something small and easy to grab when you need a little energy.
